Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg has made no-budget horror film during his time in quarantine due to the coronavirus.
Director of last year’s acclaimed film ‘Shazam!’ made the most of his time during mandatory corona homestay.
He released three-minute horror short titled ‘Shadowed’, starring his wife Lotta Losten who is an actress.
The film is set in complete natural light, dark corners, and silence interrupted by unexpected bursts of sound. Losten’s character is terrorized by shadows in her husband’s production.
Before shooting to fame, the director previously made short films. Amidst a self-quarantine period, Sandberg and Losten have reverted to their previous labor of love and delivered the new short horror film.
It’s impressive what Sandberg is able to achieve with limited means and in a single location.
His wife has starred in his horror hits ‘Lights Out’ and ‘Annabelle: Creation’ as well as 'Shazam!'
